Kristy Barrett
Sage's Executive Director and founder, Kristy Barrett, has extensive experience in all aspects of juvenile dependency cases, adoptions, and the Indian Child Welfare Act.
Kristy is a native Oregonian. From growing up in Salem, Oregon, Kristy went to University of Oregon where she majored in sociology and minored in music. She returned to Salem for law school attending Willamette University College of Law.
Before founding Sage, Kristy helped clients for over 16 years at the Native American Program Legal Aid Services of Oregon.
Outside the office, Kristy enjoys visiting the coast, baking, and cheering for the Oregon Ducks and Portland Timbers.
Cristen Campbell
Cristen Campbell represents both parents and children in juvenile dependency cases with a focus on cases involving the Indian Child Welfare Act.
Emily Marrer
Emily Marrer represents both parents and children in juvenile dependency cases with a focus on cases involving the Indian Child Welfare Act.
Emily attended the University of Oregon majoring in political science while also playing Division I Soccer for the Ducks. She stayed with the University of Oregon for law school where she received the 2011 Nicole Richardson Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award and was a 2010 University of Michigan Bergstrom Child Welfare Fellow.
After law school Emily joined the Native American Program Legal Aid Services of Oregon for three years as a juvenile dependency attorney. Emily is an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
When she is not working you can find her enjoying the great Northwest outdoors, playing sports and cheering for the Ducks and Timbers.
